This week's solopreneur journey update is a little early as I'm heading off today to celebrate my Dad's marriage! He has a lovely new wife and I'm super excited to go visit them, along with my sister's family, for the weekend.

20 cold niches that I can start researchingflipped these two over, turns out warm niches are a lot easier to think of - I identified ~ 50 warm niches this week(!), with quite a few overlaps. I also id'd 21 cold niches.

Reminder for the purposes of the update: Warm niches are those you are engaged in or interested in, or you are closely related to via personal connections, like my friends and family reading this update!


Life habits

I've started introducing some life habits I want to instil, so I'll keep them updated weekly with how I did each day. They are:

  • drink 2x glasses of water first thing in the morning (every day)
  • 20 minutes of high energy exercise each day (aiming for 4/7 days a week minimum)
  • 0 alcoholic drinks - big one for me as I do like to unwind with a drink, but it isn't a good crutch (aiming for 5/7 days/week)
  • Bed by 11 - super important, sleep is the main determiner of my mood.

Next week's goals

Choose 3 niches and start deep dive researching into them-Time to start seeing what biz opportunities are out there, what pain points can I find and turn into an idea and a landing page.

Next week will be quite time poor as I'm at my Dad's wedding celebration(!) Sunday and Monday, and heading to Tasmania for a good friend's wedding on Friday / Saturday. So really only a couple of evenings / mornings to work.
