I'm a software engineer becoming a solopreneur in 2023.

Interests

I love building things and have always wanted to be my own boss. I fancy myself as decent at marketing and decent at coding, an all-rounder. I'm giving it a red-hot crack in 2023 to get on the path towards hiring myself. $100/month might seem small, but hitting that 🎯 is what I need to prove I can make money online. I love running, snowboarding, generally getting outside, but also plenty of standing in front on my iMac as any classic introvert does.

Fears

I'm pretty scared of putting things I've built out into the world. I'm a perfectionist afraid of what people will think if my work isn't amazing. It is critical for me to overcome those self doubts in order to work for myself. This blog and building in public is a big piece of that, a tool to put myself out in the world and keep me accountable.

Weekly updates

To that end, I'll be posting weekly updates throughout 2023 of how I'm progressing, icluding healthy life habits I'm trying to foster. Sleep! If I can just get a solid 7-8 per night, I can conquer the world. Let's see how I go! Please read my updates if that interests you!
